about

I am an artist-jeweller. In the last 5 years my passion is focused on jewellery and object design.

Curiosity for organic forms and the human condition inspires me to make.which in turns, enriches my life with meaning, joy and hope. Through making, I learn to meditate and create a space for contemplation for the many complex relationships between my inner and outer world.

In 2013, my work was heavily influenced by the writings of Hermann Hesse and Carl Jung. I find Jung's works on the collective unconscious to be a rich source for creative possibilities. The idea that, some how we are all inter-connected through an array of archetypes which informs our moral compass is intensely intriguing.

"Often, where we falter, there, our greatest treasures laid" (Joseph Campbell).

Strong emotions can reveal much insight into our own true nature if we find the courage to confront our shadow.

The challenge is to look past the surface to realise the gift of the present moment.
